We are delighted to announce that Gregor Kennedy will be speaking at the Seventeenth International Conference on Technology, Knowledge, and Society.
Gregor Kennedy is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning) at the University of Melbourne and a Professor of Higher Education in the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education (MCSHE). In his Pro Vice-Chancellor role Gregor leads the University's strategy in teaching, learning and assessment, curriculum innovation, educational technologies, learning analytics, alternative credentialing, and the use of physical and virtual learning spaces. Gregor has spent over 20 years conducting and overseeing research and development in educational technology in higher education. His current research interests include students’ motivation and self-regulation; understanding interaction and engagement in digital learning environments particularly through the use of learning analytics; understanding student confusion in digital learning environments; and the interpretation of feedback by students. Gregor has published widely in the areas of educational technology, and teaching and learning in higher education, and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
