Roxana Cabello holds a Bachelor of Sociology (UBA) and PhD in Social Communication Sciences (USAL). She is currently a researcher-teacher at the National University of General Sarmiento in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she coordinates Observatory Interactive Media Applications (Ohmi).
Her research is dedicated to finding and establishing the links between different types of actors with information and communications technology in various fields. In particular she focuses on children and their educational processes. The main focus of her research focuses on reflection on the relationship between the processes of technological diffusion and development projects.
Her published books include; Las Redes del Juego (2008), Argentina Digital (2009), " Yo con la computadora no tengo nada que ver " (2006), Ciberjuegos (2010), Migraciones digitales (2013), Medios informáticos en la educación (2007), Enseñar con tecnologias, and Nuevas miradas en la formación docente (2011). She has also published numerous articles in books and magazines.
